About me

PROFESSIONAL PATH

Working in the Mechanical Engineering industry for approximately 2 years after receiving my degree from the University of Pretoria, I found that web development was a technology that could be applied everywhere.

This leads me to study and build many web-based applications resulting in a passion that I would've otherwise been unaware of. I resigned from my previous job to delve deeply into the coding world where I gained skills in HTML/CSS, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React & Redux.

Through my learning, I developed special skills such as pair-programming, remote working, code reviewing, and mentoring. Combining my previous skills in the energy consulting and nuclear industries, I have the advantage of being able to solve complex problems and to develop a solution based on client requirements.
